BUDGET FRIENDLY FINDS...

Budget Friendly Finds
I never fully understood why I love shoes so much. But whatever the reason may be all I know is that at this very moment I'm having a budget friend craving for these shoes! Not only are they uber stylish, but according to the reviews I've read they're also supposed to be really comfortable. Since they're on sale at Urban Outfitters for just $39 I'll definitely be getting these in yellow and black.

SATURDAY MORNING

Breakfast is absolutely my most favorite meal of the day. But come to think of it any meal is my most favorite meal of the day. Since I don't always have the luxury to indulge in this favorite past time given the opportunity I always make sure to take full advantage to do so. Even though I had to wake up at a ridiculous hour this morning I somehow managed to make myself this hearty and delicious breakfast. It makes have to go into work on a Saturday morning that much easier.

Ingredients
Omelet
2 eggs
red onion
yellow bell pepper
green bell pepper

Salad
arugula
tomatoes

Dressing
Extra Virgin Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Lemon

Welcome to SF Uniqlo!

wish list from Uniqlo

So it's official, Uniqlo is coming to San Francisco this upcoming Fall! Reason to celebrate? I think so! Based out of Japan Uniqlo is well known among fashionistas in NYC and Europe for it's high quality basic pieces at bargain prices. So it's no surprise that I already have my wishlist from Uniqlo ready!

Ultra Light Parka not only is this Parka super stylish but it'll also keep you warm and won't weight you down
Cotton T Blouse this is a great piece that can easily transition from your Summer to Fall wardrobe
Skinny Fit Cargo Pants I want these in black, olive and grey! I could see myself wearing them all year round
V Neck Cashmere Sweater I'm a lover of all things cashmere. And at $90 bucks I'll definitely be building myself a nice little cashmere collection
Pleaded Sleveless Dress another great piece that can transition from summer to fall with ease and can easily be dressed up or down
Blazer  one can never have enough blazers. They can quickly elevate an outfit from simple to sharp instantly and I desperately need to replace my classic blazer that I lost awhile back
Linen Button Down Shirt this shirt is so simple but the linen textile makes it look so luxurious
White Skinny Fit Jeans I've always wanted me a pair of white skinny jeans. And I'm loving these!
Georgette Blouse I can't believe this blouse is only $20, it looks so expensive! I could see myself pairing it up with the skinny fit cargo pant and cute open toe strap heel

Oakland at it's best!

Hands down! Best dressed couple of the night

Since getting back from Europe I've been spending a lot less time in San Francisco and have quickly been falling in love with Oakland. While attending Oakland's monthly art walk I couldn't help but snap up some pictures of some stylish individuals who caught my eye.
Love the dress, the teal converse sneakers... and let's not forget that smile!
This guy's afro is perfection!

I would kill to raid this girl's wardrobe
This girl's best accessory is definitely her smile
Love these glowing gloves. Check out her website artsygeek

I really like the idea of living in an area that is undergoing a renaissance of change and being surrounded by artists and bohemians that are bringing a new direction to a neighborhood. For those of you who are familiar with Brooklyn, NY, I feel that Oakland is going in a similar direction as Brooklyn did. There was a time when Brooklyn had a terrible reputation, now its known as one of the hippest places to live. San Francisco has lost so much of the Bohemian personality that made it famous and it seems to me that many of the innovative restaurants, artists and thinkers in the bay area are heading to Oakland. Give me a few more months and I'll be one of them.
