| Since getting back from Europe I've been spending a lot less time in San
Francisco and have quickly been falling in love with Oakland. While attending
Oakland's monthly art walk I couldn't help but snap up some pictures of
some stylish individuals who caught my eye. | | |

| Love the dress, the teal converse sneakers... and let's not forget that smile! |

This guy's afro is perfection!

I really like the idea of living in an area that is undergoing a renaissance of change and being surrounded by artists and
bohemians that are bringing a new direction to a neighborhood. For those of you who are familiar
with Brooklyn, NY, I feel that
Oakland is going in a similar direction as Brooklyn did. There was a
time when Brooklyn had a terrible reputation, now its known as one of
the hippest places to live. San Francisco has lost so much of the Bohemian
personality that made it famous and it seems to me that many of the
innovative restaurants, artists and thinkers in the bay area are heading to Oakland. Give me a few more months and I'll be one of them.
